A reduced turn-out, no doubt due to Rugby watching, nearly stopped the fourth match from being run.

Young riders, Ieuan Payne, Sean Bennett and Adam Bennett took up the vacant places to assist two teams.  The Twitchers were able to field their normal, strong, team and were never in danger of losing the match.

At the half-way mark the scores were Twitchers 23, Ginger Hob Nobs 21 and the Frame Benders, suffering with a withdrawal from racing, Sean, and a unwell Matt Davis, on 14 points.

A 7-3 for Neil and Adam put the Ginger Hob Nobs out in front for a short while but they only had three heats left in which to score.  They finished on 41 points with the other teams left to race the final two heats.  Aaron and Colin clinched the match in the 11th heat with a 7-3 win.

The last heat saw young Ieuan Payne turn under Gilbert Davis and then force Rob Absalom to make a mistake.  Ieuan is another rider who is starting to make an impact at match and training days.
