Match five of the indoor series saw late arrivals put in a below par performance. Not having enough time to get up to speed and adequately warm up showed how performance suffers in the early races.

With Twitchers Utd.(TU) leading the league, another win would make them overall winners while a last place would leave next weeks match to settle the final standings.  The ever improving Ginger Hob Nobs (GHN) were out to get their first win and contend for the title.  Unreliable attendance has forced the Frame Benders (FB) to rely upon conscript riders from the junior ranks but the strength of their top two riders, Dan Bock and Ryan Hughes still enabled them to claim second position, overall in the League.

Heat one - A 7-3 win for Neil Power and Josh Davis got the Hob Nobs in a good frame of mind.

Heat two - Rob Absalom and Gilbert Davis cruised to a 7-3 win.  Throughout the indoor series this
pairing have been the ones to beat!

Heat three -Louis Harvey shot out of the gate with Aaron Hughes and Colin Wildy successfully holding off Adam Bennett.

Heat four - An excellent ride by Josh Davis, who forced dad Gilbert, out of the way to steal third. Josh's team mate, Neil, took the win  The 6-4 result put the GHN`s in the lead.

Heat five - Aaron and Colin were split by Dan. 6-4 for TU.

Heat six - Louis Harvey and Ryan Hughes battled from the off.  Louis used all his skill to prevent Ryan from getting past.  A collision on the last lap, where Adam Bennett undertook both but fell off, saw the referee award positions for when the finish line was crossed after the completion of the third lap.  The 6-4 win meant at the halfway stage the FB had 14pts,  GHN 24pts and TU 22pts.

Heat seven - A straight forward 7-3 for Rob and Gilbert.

Heat eight - Matt Davis helped Neil get a 5-5 draw.  The Ryan Hughes win showed that even though his earlier result were below par he was now firing on all cylinders!

Heat nine - A 7-3 for Louis and Adam, over Dan and Ieuan Payne, doesn`t really portray how hard the race was contested.

Heat ten - Ethan Lewis supported Ryan Hughes win to get a 5-5.  Frame Benders finished on 30 points.

Heat eleven - Another  5-5 draw saw either the GHN (41pts) or TU (39pts) with a chance of winning the match.

Heat twelve - A tactical ride by Josh and Neil allowed Aaron to take the lead but gave them the ideal opportunity to team ride against Colin.  The 5-5 result also gave the Ginger Hob Nobs their first win of the series.
