East Newport Cycle Speedway Club came away from Exeter this past weekend 25th April with 2 out of three victories.
 
First up was the division one encounter, [&] with the East Enders looking to secure there first win of the season came unstuck to a rampant home side losing 95 - 81, man of the match 13 year old Louis Harvey was in fine form scoring 17, [&] was backed up well by Nicky Evans, Neil Power [&] Ryan Hughes.

With the 8 heat Combination match up next against a very youthful home team, the East Newport Manager tracked a very experience line up running out winners by 9 points, 35 - 44.
 
Man of the match Dan Bock showed what a good gater he is [&] along with Nigel Clark both recorded maximums.  Josh Davis, Rob Absalom, Khalid Mitha [&] John Marks who last raced some 26 years ago were always in the think of the action.

The 3rd [&] final match of the day was Conference action [&] with the young East End team doing so well this season winning both there opening fixtures they were in no mood to lose this fixture, [&] with Man of the match Corey Burnell-Jones [&] all of his team mates in fine form ran out winners by 15 points 66 - 81 to stay top of the South [&] South Wales Conference league.
