East Newport's Junior league riders took to the track in the 2nd round of this years South West Junior League GP at Exeter, coming home in 3rd place for the 2nd time this season. Star of the show for the Go-ride Clubmark Club was Sean Bennett in the under 8's who once again showed why he is one to watch this season, going through the card unbeaten for the 2nd time this season.
 
Once again all the East Newport riders did the club proud namely Nicky Goward, Eistyn Lewis, Bradley Davies and Richard Morrison who raced in his very first match (under 8's), Craig Williams, Callum Goward, Taylor Carey, Tudor Coombes, Ryan Davies and Ethan Lewis (under 10's), Khalid Mitha and Adam Bennett (under 12's), Louis Harvey and Josh Davis (under 14's), Ryan Lewis, Aaron Hughes and Dan Bock (under 16's) and Laura Bennett.
 
A Club spokesman said "we have been asked by some of the club's female members if they could have a go in GP events, which is great news for the club as the South West do operate a women's event, so now they are looking forward to taking part and are doing plenty of training for the East End Event.
