Go-ride/Clubmark East Newport Cycle Speedway made the short trip over the Seven Bridge to take on Filton in a South West Division one match.
 
With the East End outfit using five riders under the age of 15, they put in a spirited performance before going down to a Filton side who had five veterans in there line up 97-80.
 
Man of the match British u13 Individual Champion Louis Harvey was is great form and was well supported by the ever trying Aaron Hughes who suffered 2 exclusions and some vintage riding by vet Mike Rice who in heat 16 came from last to first. All in all Filton ran out deserved winners and the match was well refereed by Mr Phil Davies.
