At the end of a busy 2008 even on new years eve the clubs committee are working hard to develop the club and the facilities. Two visits have been made to the civic centre to complete the huge amount of paperwork required for the planning application to develop the clubs pits and clubhouse area. We dont have the support of the city council or even the local council but we do have volunteers who work hard to raise the much needed cash and then play a part of building the track and the club.

The clubs committee are very proud to belong to such a wonderful group of friends that enjoy the bond that is East Newport Cycle Speedway Club and look forward to working just as focussed in 2009.

A new club news letter will be sent out soon, the club website will be improved and we still have all the indoor racing to keep us busy. We hope you have all enjoyed reading the articles posted on your website this year and we promise to make it even better next year with more photos and features.
